It started raining while I was in the middle of the ocean by myself. I was trying to drive the dinghy in a straight direction to the Maui Princess on the outside morey but the high winds and big swells sprayed salt water all over me and in my eyes. The flashlight was flipping out on me too as it was resting in my tightly flexed lap. Its a good thing the customers left already, I thought.
I'm so tired
I went to a Hawaiian high school graduation last night and I was overwhelmed! I have never seen a celebration so crazy. Every part of everyone's family graduating and their friends would come out to see the ceremony. They would have huge signs to find them, blow horns, and balloons by the dozens that would be tied on to this person. The best part was the leis they wore. Some had so many leis on that all that was showing was their eyes! It was hilarious and wonderful all at the same time! I gained some ideas for Crystals graduation in two weeks.
I learned how to make leis too! I can make tea leaf leis and plumeria leis!
Tonight, I had a party of 28 Asians for a rehersal dinner! They were all up and taking pictures instead of eating their food. They tipped so well though and all five of us got $123 in tips each! Too bad we don't see it until the check. And it doesn't help that I had 12 tables tonight for two hours.
Tomorrow I will have to be walking down this mountain to get to work because Mei finally got a job! and she will be working while I am here at her house. But what will make it all better is the pad thai I will be getting near the company's office. And I will have seen Pirates II all of the way through while I eat a bowl of ice cream.
I realized while I have been here that nothing is cold. Unless it is solid hard froxen, you will not feel coldness. Ice cream for instance is never frozen while it is in the freezer or out because it is half melted by the time you finish scooping it into your bowl. Ahh, I love ice cream though.
